SUBMERGED ARC WELDING WIRE LAYER WINDING MACHINE
The submerged arc welding wire has many diameter specifications, and packaging specifications (width, inner diameter, outer diameter of different welding wire spools), which raises higher requirements to wire winding facilities. The design and manufacture of submerged arc welding wire winding machines encounter difficulties as follows:
1.    Welding wire straightening difficulty:
The welding wires have large ranges in diameters and specifications, the min. diameter of the welding wires used in submerged are welding is φ1.6, the max. diameter is φ6.4 (the actual winding scopes of our winding facilities are larger). Before rewinding welding wires must be straightened firstly, Straightener have two or three specifications suitable to rewind. The thinner the linear diameter of the welding wires, the smaller the diameter of the killing roller, and the smaller the center-to-center spacing of the straightening rollers. or vice versa. Therefore different, straightener must be used to straightening welding wires.
2.    Inconsistency of welding wire spool standards
The welding wires have various specifications, and the welding facilities used in actual manufacturing processes also have different types and have non uniform standards, these cause great difficulty in designing and manufacturing facilities. The way to operate by machines to make the arranging wires has many transmission ratios, when the winding width varies, its hard to be operated by machines, at this time, electric drive is required.
3.    Welding wire layer winding difficulty
Due to the bigger diameters of the submerged are welding wires, its difficult to arranging by hand when displacing the bottom layer of welding wires. In order to ensure arranging the bottom wire layer smoothly, slots will be grooved at the bottom of wire bush. one type of welding wire has a wire bush, but the manufacture of the wire bush is complicated and costly, equipping with more wire bush is therefore a hard problem.
4.    Vairous customers requirements

HRS-800 WELDING LAYER WINDING MACHINE
HRS-800 welding wire layer winding machine is mainly applied to coreless winding of submerged arc welding wires which diameter is from 2.0 to 2.5 in small spools. This machine pays off automatically, and has high winding efficiency.
Compositions of the machine:
Take-up—It is driven by AC motor, and is applied to wind the welding wires to spools, Its equipped with wire arranging system is controlled by step motor, spindle speed testing, start point aligning, and braking part of the take-up.
Straightener—is installed on the take-up and applied to straighten welding wires.
Dancer—is able to check, adjust the tension of welding wires in winding to ensure the welding wires to rewind smoothly.
Pay-off— is driven by AC motor, controlled by inverter, realizes the constant tension in the process of the welding wire rewinding, and the braking system of pay-off is also installed in it.
Electric control box—the performing part of the control system, which is equipped with inverter and other performing units.
